St. Patty's Fun!

If you’ve been here before, you know I can’t resist holiday decorations and crafts! Here is some St. Patty’s Day fun to put you in a magical mood!

First we made some funny, little leprechaun masks. I cut pasted the basic shape out, then I let the kids decorate the beard with orange and red yarn and pompoms. They looked hilarious!

To continue the St. Patty’s fun, I made a little learning game for the kids. I created a paper pocket, shaped like a pot of gold. Then I wrote numbers on black notecards, and bought some plastic gold coins. All they had to do was flip a card and put that number of gold coins into the pocket. It was a perfect way for the kids to practice their counting skills!

To round off the day, I made the kids a magically delicious treat! I dipped some jumbo marshmallows in some white chocolate, and rolled them in cereal charm marshmallows! They were so excited for this tasty treat!
