A Sweet Spring Treat

I am a big fan of tea! I love them all, but Earl Gray has a special place in my heart. I came across a recipe for black tea sugar cookies years ago, and thought, how incredible would these be if I used Earl Gray! The Earl combined with a little vanilla made these cookies taste just like a cozy London Fog, which is comprised of Earl Gray tea, vanilla syrup, and streamed milk. They are perfect for a little sweet Spring treat!

I had the most perfect pansies and violas blooming in my planters on my front steps at the time, and I decided to dress up my cookies with them. I sugared the flowers and “glued” them on top with a little egg wash. These cookies were almost too pretty to eat!
